Knight's Code of Honor

My soul to God -- by the full spiritual life;

My life to Christ the King;

My heart to our Blessed Lady; and

My own honor - the ineffable honor that comes to him who called the Church my Mother and to him who calls God, my Father and strives to live like His Son.

Memorare

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to Thy protection, implored Thy help or sought Thy intercession, was left unaided.  Inspired with this confidence, I fly unto Thee, O Virgin of Virgins, my mother.  To Thee I come, before Thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful.  O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy, hear and answer me.  Amen.

Our Lady,

Queen of Palestine,

 pray for us.

The spiritual privileges accorded members are:  plenary indulgence, under usual conditions, the day of Investiture and on the four feast days especially assigned to the Order:

  1. Our Lady, Queen of Palestine - Sunday within the Octave of the Assumption

  2. the Exultation of the Holy Cross - September 14

  3. St. Pius X - August 21

  4. St. Helen - August 18

With a continual and unceasing raising of the mind and heart to God through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the effectiveness of our efforts on behalf of the Christian in the Holy Land will succeed.  The Memorare was given to the Order by St. Bernard, Abbot of Clairvaux, when he urged the Second Crusade.

The Memorare should be the daily offering of every Knight and Lady.
